How a job flows

Every job is made of lines of work. Each line keeps its own status, so one car can have an approved MOT, a declined set of tyres and a brake job waiting for parts, all at once.

Book it in

Look up the reg, add the lines of work and the parts each one needs.

Customer decides

Send a link. They approve, decline or leave each line for later, from their phone.

Do the work

Parts are delivered at the counter, mechanics pick up their lines and mark them done.

Invoice

Finished lines become a VAT invoice in one click, and go to QuickBooks with the payment.

Customers say yes, line by line

Text or email a link. Your customer sees their car, every item you found, and the price of each, grouped as required, recommended or optional.

  • Approve, decline or "not now" on each line, with a live total
  • Safety items need the customer to acknowledge the risk before declining
  • Messages with the garage on the same page
  • Photos and video from the mechanic Coming soon

Every mechanic sees their own work

Give a job, or a single line, to a person or a group such as your MOT testers or auto electricians. Each mechanic signs in on their phone and sees only what they can pick up.

  • Start, pause and finish each line; who did what is recorded
  • Lines that belong to someone else are shown greyed out
  • Cars that haven't arrived yet can't be started
  • Report extra work found, for the office to price and send

Parts that don't go missing

Every part belongs to a line of work. Order it, mark it received, and if the customer says no, it's flagged to go back to the supplier automatically.

  • A counter tablet where drivers mark deliveries, take-backs and collections
  • Exchange parts: the mechanic is told to keep the old unit for the surcharge refund
  • Undo any order or delivery entered by mistake

Invoices your accountant will like

Finished lines become a proper VAT invoice with gapless numbering. MOT fees are kept outside the scope of VAT, corrections are credit notes, and payments can be split across cash, card or anything else you take.

  • QuickBooks Online: customers, invoices, payments and credit notes
  • Send straight away, or review a summary at the end of the day
  • Search every job and invoice, going back years

Try it with your own garage
